Crossroads RMC launches NextTrack Insights at inPOWER 2025!

Beta testing underwayβ€”general availability by year-end.

🌟 Transformation Starts with the ERP You Already Trust 🌟

At inPOWER 2025, Crossroads RMC proudly unveiled NextTrack Insights, the next evolution of our analytics solution built for manufacturers running Infor ERP and IBM i systems.

For decades, manufacturers have relied on Crossroads RMC for shop floor scheduling, MES, and analytics solutions that fill the gaps left by standard ERP. With NextTrack Insights, we’ve taken that commitment further — introducing AI-powered natural language querying (NLQ) that allows you to simply ask your data for answers.

Imagine a shop floor supervisor walking the plant with a tablet in hand, asking:
βœ” “Which machines are down?”
βœ” “Are we on track to meet production targets for this shift?”
βœ” “Where are labor bottlenecks affecting throughput?”

Instead of searching spreadsheets or waiting on IT reports, they get instant, actionable insights. That’s the power of conversational AI built directly into your ERP analytics.

πŸ”Ή Modern Technology for Real Results
We rebuilt NextTrack Insights with .NET Core and API integrations, improving speed, scalability, and compatibility with leading AI models like GPT-4.1. The dashboard is ERP-agnostic, but today we’re especially focused on helping Infor LX, XA, and Db2 for i database customers unlock KPIs around cycle times, equipment effectiveness, downtime, labor history, and more.

πŸ”Ή Bridging the Analytics Gap
Infor has delivered innovation in its cloud suites, but IBM i customers have often been left behind when it comes to modern analytics and AI. Crossroads RMC stepped up to fill that gap, empowering manufacturers to extend the value of the ERP systems they already trust — without costly migrations or complex rebuilds.

πŸ”Ή Why Now?
The manufacturing landscape is changing fast. Data-driven decisions aren’t just “nice to have”, they’re the key to staying competitive. With NextTrack Insights, you can move beyond static dashboards and reports to real-time insights that drive efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve profitability.

πŸ‘‰ Beta testing is already underway, with general availability expected by year-end 2025.

Use this session to define simulated purchase prices for purchased items per site.

Field Information:

  • Cost Calculation Code - price calculation code
  • Item

The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold.

An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit, or which exist in multiple product variants.

You can also define nonphysical items, which are not retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to customers. The examples of nonphysical items:

  • Cost items (for example, electricity)
  • Service items
  • Subcontracting services
  • List items (menus/options)

  • Site - The site for which the purchase price is simulated.
  • Purchase Currency - The currency of the simulated purchase price.
  • Simulated Price - Purchase price

The simulated purchase price and currency are recorded twice.

  • Simulated Price Multi Currency - The purchase price in multiple currencies.

The simulated purchase price and currency are recorded twice. The amount in this field is related to the price of the supplier.

  • Unit - Purchase price unit
  • Cost Component - The cost component that must be of the type Material Costs.

Note: The cost component specified in this field does not become part of the standard cost detail structure if it is part of the cost component scheme of the selected item. If calculations are performed with a calculation code not used for actualization (simulations only), the simulated purchase price is mapped to the cost component defined in the records for this session.
