No. Although consultants will be reviewing data and settings in your production system, no changes will be made to the system without your approval. We use a test system to demonstrate best practices against your current setup before making any permanent changes.
If possible, make a test system available that duplicates production. Beyond that, make sure your subject matter experts can be available when needed, identify the objective for the review, and secure VPN access for the consultant performing it.
Your consultant creates a post-assessment summary document detailing the findings and recommendations, then holds a post-review meeting to walk your team through the entire document. Recommendations are prioritized and include estimated costs, benefits, and a plan of action.
