On February 18, 2016, the Maquoketa plant of Morrison Brothers went live with the Crossroads MES solution. The goal was to remove all the shop floor paperwork and eliminate the manual recording of production and labor. The company achieved this goal in just 96 days from project kick-off to go live. Included in the go-live was the ability to deliver drawings electronically to the Crossroads MES workstations. This was a critical component of the implementation as it ensured that each workstation would always be operating off the latest revision of the engineering documents.

A rollout of the Crossroads MES solution is planned for Morrison’s Dubuque plants later this year.

Crossroads RMC has once again partnered with Xenitel Managed Service Solutions and CST Industries to create a warranty service claim system for CST’s dealers. The project will provide a way for dealers to create a “warranty request claim” from within the dealer portal, defining the customer and product, and parts that failed, and selecting what parts they are claiming for replacement to install the replacement part. This service will be offered in addition to the parts online ordering system previously developed for CST.

Manufacturers across the country rely heavily on their MRP or ERP systems to automate the handling of resources. That's what the "R" stands for, after all. This site was developed largely to simplify the ordering process for CST’s dealers, providing information on available inventory, flexible ordering, fast shipments, and improved dealer support.
